Here are some of the panel features you can expect:
- User-friendly interface: The ActivPanel 10 brings the OS experience you’re already familiar with right to the panel. You can immediately start using an Android, Microsoft, or Chrome operating system when connected with the appropriate compute device (OPS-A, OPS-M, or Chromebox).
- Seamless connectivity: Need to connect your laptop or pull a slideshow from your USB thumb drive? We have plenty of ports and connections to support your teaching needs.
- Crystal clear visuals: The display boasts richer colors and deeper blacks, making it easy for students to follow along with the lesson, no matter where they sit. Two ambient light sensors automatically detect the brightness of your classroom and adjust the ActivPanel appropriately.
- Picture-in-picture: One of the new features you’ll love is the touch-enabled Picture-in-picture. From any connected device, you can switch between device screens, have two inputs side-by-side, or even have students share their screen.

For those looking for additional features, the ActivPanel 10 Premium introduces a suite of new tools to further enhance your lessons.
ActivPen® 2
Say goodbye to the disconnect between your pen and ActivPanel. The ActivPen 2 allows you to walk around the classroom and interact with your ActivPanel 10. With features like an air mouse to click between windows, a red dot/highlighter to draw attention to the key points in the lesson, and pagination keys to quickly progress or go back in a slideshow or lesson, you’ll be able to keep students actively engaged.
All-in-one Remote
The All-in-one Remote allows you to interact with your ActivPanel 10 from anywhere in the classroom. Its dual-sided design features a full QWERTY keyboard on one side and a touch-enabled remote on the other, allowing you to present and type with a single device. Mouse controls allow you to navigate the ActivPanel 10 with your fingertips, while a full suite of buttons creates a seamless lesson for you and your students.
ePTZ camera
New to the suite of premium accessories is the ePTZ (electronic pan, tilt, and zoom) camera, available as an add-on to ActivPanel 10 standard users. This camera allows you to quickly and securely start teaching using the built-in USB-C connection at the top of the ActivPanel 10 Premium. A privacy shutter allows you to manage privacy concerns. Using the mic array feature built into the ActivPanel 10 Premium, the ePTZ camera will automatically detect and pan to whoever is speaking, allowing you to minimize distractions both virtually teaching and in the classroom.
Enhanced audio
Built-in speakers and a microphone deliver crisp sound, making lessons more immersive for both in-classroom and virtual experiences. The ActivPanel 10 Premium boosts the microphone to include an array feature, meaning the mic automatically picks up who is speaking and focuses on their voice. This gives your students fewer external distractions and more focused teaching.
Introducing Promethean ActivSuite™
Promethean ActivSuite brings your favorite teaching tools all in one place so you can seamlessly create, plan, and teach. Promethean ActivSuite includes tools like Spinner and Timer to spark excitement in the classroom. Use the Promethean ActivSuite Whiteboard app to plan exciting and interactive lessons. Even better? By linking your one.prometheanworld.com account, you can access the tools you love on the go, meaning you can create a Spinner with your student’s names on it or a Timer designed for a specific lesson and then easily access it on your ActivPanel 10.

Annotate
The Annotate app allows you to create annotations on top of anything projected on your ActivPanel screen and save those notations directly to your device.
Timer
The Timer app is great for keeping on track and motivating students during instruction. You can open multiple timers at a time and save them with your Promethean account.
Spinner
The Spinner app is a floating tool that adds randomized excitement to your lessons. You can launch multiple spinners at a time and save spinner preferences to your Promethean account.
Screen Share Receiver
Share and control content from multiple devices, including laptops, desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
