With our latest update for Explain Everything Web and Promethean ActivSuite™ Whiteboard, you’ll be ready to engage your students in more ways when they return to the classroom. Here are some of the features you can start using today: 

Equation Editor: If you’ve used Explain Everything on your mobile device, you may be familiar with this tool. The Equation Editor offers a dedicated set of mathematical symbols to help you form equations in your project. You can now access it in both Explain Everything Web and Promethean ActivSuite Whiteboard through the Add Media menu. 

Updated Toolbar for large screens: Physically moving to the other side of your screen to access the toolbar is now a thing of the past. When using large screens, like the ActivPanel 10, the toolbars automatically align to one side of the board. Want to move with you as you teach? Right click and select Align Toolbars to manually adjust the alignment to where you need it. 

Multitouch drawing collaboration: Collaboration is even more seamless now on touch-screen devices like the Activpanel 10. With this update, multiple drawing points can be used, allowing for side-by-side participation in real-time. This opens up more opportunities for your students to solve equations and puzzles, work in teams, or even fill out exit surveys at the same time. 

Palm erase updates: There’s no need to worry about accidentally erasing your lesson when you draw over static items like images. With this update, Explain Everything now only removes hand-drawn elements when you erase with your palm on a touch screen device. It’s easier than ever to annotate during your lesson and turn back the clock when you’re ready.
