Supercharge your lessons with new Explain Everything templates

Students engaging with an Explain Everything template.

The new Explain Everything templates for teachers offer fresh and creative ways to engage students in the classroom. These templates cover everything from foundational concepts for primary students to in-depth lessons for secondary subjects, allowing you to dive right into teaching.

Here are the six exciting templates to explore:

  1. Primary math: counting nickels and pennies — This template makes math more visual and fun. Students count and compare change collections between two characters on the screen, helping them build basic counting and sorting skills.
  2. Secondary math: hanger diagrams—Algebra comes to life with this visual project. Hangar diagrams are a fantastic way to teach equation balancing and problem-solving, helping students grasp algebraic concepts.
  3. Secondary math: order of operations (P.E.M.D.A.S.) — With this template, students can practice following the order of operations in an interactive setting. It’s perfect for reinforcing the P.E.M.D.A.S. rules, allowing students to work through problems step-by-step while avoiding common errors.
  4. Secondary math: polar graph — This project introduces students to the polar coordinate system. Polar graphs help students visualize data and can be particularly useful when the data is cyclic or when dealing with angles and radii.
  5. Secondary science: moon phase — This moon phase template brings astronomy right into your classroom. As students learn about the moon phases, help strengthen their knowledge by having them label the moon phases on this whiteboard.
  6. Secondary ELA: scene mood analysis — Designed with literature classes in mind, this whiteboard helps students analyze how authors create mood in a scene. With prompts and a drawing board, students can deepen their understanding of the story while actively engaging with the text.
